The first American Grand Lodge received its Constitution.
The Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania was Constituted in 1731, making
it the first Grand Lodge in America.
1797:
The Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons in America finds its beginnings.
1801:
The Southern Jurisdiction of the Scottish Rite in America finds its official start.
1813:
The Northern Jurisdiction of the Scottish Rite was started.
1816:
The Grand Encampment of the Knights Templar was founded.
1857:
The Order of the Eastern Star was started, founding its teachings on various parts of the Old and New Testament.
1873:
The Order of the Amaranth was started, founding its lessons on the Birth, Life, Death, and Redemptive Mission Jesus Christ.
1884:
The White Shrine of Jerusalem was originated, founding its lessons on the Birth, Life, Death, and Redemptive Mission of Jesus Christ.
1872:
The Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine, "The Shriners", was started.
1881:
The Grand Council of Cryptic Masons, Royal and Select Masters was founded.
1920:
The Tall Cedars of Lebanon finds its first year of existence.
1999:
The Widows Sons, a Masonic Motorcycle Riders Association, began its first
official year of existence. Unlike the Shiner's Motorcycle Parade Unit
which limits membership to Shrine Masons, the Widows Sons is open to
Master Masons.
